Postumus, Romano-Gallic Emperor, 260-269. Antoninianus (Billon, 21 mm, 3.57 g, 7 h), Cologne, 266. IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus to right. Rev. SERAPI COMITI AVG Serapis standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding long scepter with his left; to left at feet, prow. AGK corr. 91. Cunetio -. Elmer -. RIC -. Extremely rare. Nicely toned and very well centered. The obverse slightly weak, otherwise, good very fine.

This type is among the rarest of all Postumus' Antoniniani. Only nine examples are known, and this is only the third recorded example from this reverse die.
